Insomnia

Author’s Notes (May contains Spoilers)

After a couple of month’s hiatus from short stories, this one hit me like a freight train. I had a few false starts before this so I was surprise when this one just came with such ease. As with all my short stories, it’s longer than I liked, but it is BY FAR the best of all the ones I’d written so far.

For the first time, I feel like I truly captured the unsettling, and thinking about this story actually did make me lose out on some sleep.

This was a lot of fun to write and I have another already half in the oven that I feel will meet or exceed it in quality.
